I finished my first challenge! Without the Sistaz I probably wouldn't have gotten this Christmas scrapped for a couple of years! I did most of it at my cousin Kristi's house. She injured her back last week and can't lift her 25 lb, 9 month old son, so friends and family have been helping her out. Because I was at her house I didn't have everything I wanted or needed to do the layout, so I had to improvise a little. I used my cricut for the ornaments and the scalloped edge (I used the baby's head from Doodlecharms in a border, then I cut it in half). I did the title and journaling on my computer when I got home (thanks for the tip, Amy!). I also realized while I was looking for pictures to use, that I didn't get a picture of Abby in her Nutcracker Soldier costume. Brad taped the performance but it was too dark and she was moving too fast to get a good picture. Oh, well, we still have the costume, she'll have to put it back on one day so I can get a picture. I'm looking forward to the next challenge, one down 49 or so to go!

YAY Patty! So good to see the first layout! It looks great!!
It wonderful Patty! So bright and colorful and the pics are adorable...just makes me smile! (No pun intended!!) XO
Oh my gosh, Patty! Thanks for the great tips about the Cricut! I would NEVER have thought of the baby head cut-in-half turns into a scalloped border idea!! Very creative! Sorry you didn't get "that picture" but doing this page will probably make you more mindful of the next set of pics you take at an event. Love how you made use of valuable use of your time at your sisters.... the colorful paper is great and cheerful and the girls are adorable... also love your ornaments! Way to go!!
Love it! The papers go well together and I like the way you made the ornaments by alternating the colors and sizes of the circles.
Anything with pictures of those beautiful girls on it is bound to look good.
Absolutely love your layout. Beautiful colors and beautiful photos.
Your pages look great Patty! And I love how you gave us direction on how you completed it. I didn't even think to do that with mine. Great tips! And I like the colors too. Awesome!
Love it!
